The Dunes sits back about 300 yards from the Gulf of Mexico, but there is access to a private beach and little getting in the way of panoramic ocean views. Part of Sunset Properties, this building was constructed in 2000 and is one of the more secluded, upscale properties in the region. It has a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units that range in size from 750 square feet to nearly 3,000 square feet. One-bedroom and two-bedroom units have a pair of bathrooms and three bedroom units have 2.5 bathrooms. Kitchens were not originally designed with granite countertops and open up into the living room area. A private balcony looks out onto the Gulf of Mexico and since the property sits on a dune, it is higher than the neighboring vacation homes and allows for great views.

There a number of amenities offered at The Dunes, including an indoor/outdoor swim-thru pool, a fitness room, grilling area, outdoor shower, an outdoor hot tub and indoor hot tub. Outside by the pool deck is a landscaped area with seating. Other nearby amenities include a basketball court. The Dunes is the last property before the Fort Morgan historical area. It is relatively secluded being more than 20 miles from the intersection with Highway 59, also known as the “T.” To the east of The Dunes is The Indies, a second condominium complex owned by Sunset Properties. To the west is open land.
