Affordable Beachfront Living

This condominium complex offers some of the most affordable condos for buyers with a yearning to be on the Gulf shore. And, it has easy access to restaurants and shopping. Gulf House is made up of 36 two- and three-bedroom units spread over five buildings, which are staggered so each has a balcony view of the ocean. However, the closer the building is to the shore the better the view and the more expensive the units. Three-bedroom units are about 1,100 square feet throughout the complex. There are also two bedrooms that are roughly 1,000 square feet. Units have one or two bathrooms, although some owners have added additional half baths. Modest kitchens offer the necessities for a comfortable stay and there is a coin-operated laundry area, though some units have their own laundry hook-ups.

Gulf House Amenities

An outdoor pool is on the western side of the building, closest to the shore. It is heated during the winter. A triangular sunbathing area is found in front of the beach-side building and there is direct access to the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. An elevator serves the complex and there is a two-car maximum in the lot, which includes some covered parking. Parking is $12 a car. Gulf House is a little less than a mile from State Highway 59 and just down the road from the fishing pier at Gulf State Park, which is four buildings away. Whaler condominium complex resides to the west and the Clearwater Condominiums are to the east in this tightly packed set of complexes. There are a number of restaurant options along East Beach Boulevard including Sea ‘N Suds. The complex is served by Gulf Shores municipal services.
