Wind Drift

Wind Drift has superb views east with no other condominium complexes to get in the way. Condos here are spread over three six-story structures, one of which is located on Old River and two on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. A total of 120 two-bedroom and three-bedroom units are in this complex built in 1984. They range in size from 1,000 square feet to 1,400 square feet. Units have at least a pair of bathrooms. Comfortably-sized kitchens may have granite countertops depending on renovations. Living rooms are part of an open floor plan that leads to floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and a private balcony. An elevator serves each building.

Two outdoor pools are available, one on the north property and one serving the two south properties. Other amenities include three tennis courts. A two-car maximum is set for the uncovered parking lots. There is room for trailers and RVs in the parking lot at the north building and there are also boat slips available on Old River. Wind Drift is a mile away from the Alabama/Florida border and restaurants and retail locations are west beyond Perdido Pass. To the east of this condominium complex on the beach side is Lei Lani and on the river side to the east is the Lei Lani Mini Tower. To the west is undeveloped land.
