Sunswept

Nicely equipped condos is what you get with this comfortable complex along Perdido Beach constructed during the early days of this vacation destination. Built in 1983, SunSwept is a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units that range in size from 675 square feet to 1,300 square feet. There are 63 condos in this 8-story building and each unit has the same number of bathrooms as bedrooms. The exception is one-bedroom units, which may have 1.5 bathrooms. Master bathrooms may have a Jacuzzi tub and cozy kitchen may have granite countertops depending on renovation efforts. An open floor plan includes the living room area leading to a private balcony that looks out onto the Gulf of Mexico. Also, top-floor units have access to a deck area on the roof. The complex is served by two elevators.

SunSwept includes a sizable outdoor pool facing the Gulf of Mexico. A boardwalk leads to the sugar-sand beach and there is a two-car maximum in the uncovered, lightly landscaped parking lot. SunSwept is just under six miles from the “T,” the intersection with Highway 59. Across the street is the Walmart shopping center as well as several other retail and restaurant choices. To the east of this condominium complex is The Enclave and to the west is the SeaChase Resort.
