Shoalwater

If you seek a beachside condo with ample sleeping space and plenty of amenities, take a look at Shoalwater. Built in 1996, this 12-story complex is set among a number of condominium towers. But it differs in that it is comprised of only 72 three-bedroom units that range in size from about 1,500 square feet to up to 1,800 square feet. Smaller units have a pair of bathrooms and larger units have three. Sizable kitchens were not originally built with granite countertops but do have all the features you would expect. Each has a private balcony facing the sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico while corner units have wraparound balconies. All balconies can be accesses from the living room or master bedroom.

Two outdoor pools, one of them a children’s pool, face the beach as does a hot tub. Other outdoor amenities include a generously-sized sun deck, barbecue area, boardwalk to the beach, and a tennis court in the parking area. Another pool inside includes a hot tub and a fitness room and steam room are also available. There is a two-car maximum in the gated parking lot and no RVs or trailers are permitted. Shoalwater is located right in middle of the intersection of Highway 59 and the Florida border. To the east is Windward Point and to the west is the Holiday Inn Express.
