Looking for the old Holiday Inn? It’s been replaced by the Seawind Condominiums, a two-building complex that includes a 20-floor, beachfront building and smaller six-floor, beachfront structure next door. Renovated into condos in 2006, there are 155 two-bedroom and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 1,100 square feet and 1,800 square feet. Each has a pair of bathrooms but three-bedroom units may have up to 2.5 bathrooms. Kitchens include granite countertops and some units include room for a bunkbed set. Each condo has a private balcony accessed from the living room or master bedrooms that provide views of the sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.

A boardwalk to the beach extends from the larger complex and there is a barbecue area and outdoor hot tub. Other amenities include a sizeable fitness room and sauna. Both covered, multi-level and uncovered parking are available in the landscaped lot, which includes a guard at the entrance. There is a two-car maximum per unit. Seawind is a half mile from the intersection of Highway 59 and is located next to the beachside Sea-N-Suds restaurant. Other nearby eateries include a Waffle House across the street. To the east of Seawind are the Boardwalk condominiums and to the west are the San Carlos Condominiums.
