Regatta

If an affordable, beach-side condominium complex in a great location is on your list, consider the Regatta. Built in 1985, the Regatta was one of the first buildings in this area of the Gulf Shores and thus took advantage of some of the best available land. The 49 units, over three floors, are a mix of two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and some four-bedroom condos that range in size from a little more than 900 square feet to about 1,400 square feet. Most condos have a pair of bathrooms while four-bedroom units have a loft area. Kitchens may or may not have granite countertops depending on renovation projects and only a few units have balconies that directly face the sugar sands of the Gulf of Mexico. The remainder of the condos form a courtyard, though each has a private balcony in the tail end of the unit that may provide ocean-front views. Common balconies near the condos’ entrance face the courtyard area.

An outdoor pool is found in the courtyard and a barbecue area is available near the beach. A two-car maximum has been established for the uncovered lot and the complex is served by an elevator. One of the main selling points of the Regatta condos is its location near attractions including The Hangout, which is a quick walk away, as well as the shopping and restaurant options near State Highway 59. To the east of the condo complex is the Castaways condominium complex and to the west is open land. The nearest condominium complex to the west is the Phoenix All Suites Hotel, which is two properties away.
