Luxury Living in West Beach

If a higher-end beach-front experience in West Beach is what you desire, Island Royale may be right up your alley. The complex, built in 2002, features abundant amenities among its 84 two-bedroom and three-bedroom units. Each condo in the 14-floor Island Royale include attractive features such as 9-foot ceilings, side-by-side refrigerators, granite countertops, and abundant views of the Gulf of Mexico. Two-bedroom units are a little more than a 1,000 square feet and have two full baths. Three-bedroom units are a little less than 1,300 square feet and feature 3 bathrooms. A curved, private balcony is accessible off the living room and private balconies from the rear bedroom look onto Little Lagoon and Mobile Bay if the unit is high enough. There is also a viewing area from the roof reserved for owners. Complex units also have washer and dryer hook-ups.

Amenities at the Island Royale are aimed to increase a visitor’s serving of relaxation. Swim through the heated indoor pool to the outdoor portion to cool off or relax in the landscaped patio on one of the complex’s beach furniture. Island Royale also has a sauna, hot tub, steam room, guest bathrooms by the pool, an exercise room, a conference room, a business center, and a mail room. There are both open and covered parking in the landscaped lot. Parking passes are $12 a car and covered parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A convenience store is right across the street so filling empty beach coolers does not require a car ride. The Oceania condominium complex is to the west and the Phoenix Gulf Shores condominium complex, which at the time is still under construction, is to the east of Island Royale.
