If your ideal vacation home would be sports fields than sugar-sand beaches, the Park View Condos is a homerun (forgive the pun). The five-building complex, constructed in 1996, is across the street from Gulf Shores Bodenhamer Recreational center, which is home of tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer fields and other recreational attractions. This inland complex differs from beachfront condos in that 60-day leases are the minimum. So these condos are more like apartments in that neighbors are there for more than a week. Park View is made up of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 800 square feet to 1,240 square feet. Top-floor units have vaulted ceilings and outdoor storage is available. These are some of the more affordable condos in the region.
